2013 BHM Opening Ceremony | Queen’s University
On February 1, 2013, QBAS and ACSA (African Caribbean Students’ Association) co-hosted the 2013 Black History Month Ceremony. The ceremony featured dignitary speakers including Principal Woolf, Student Rector, Nick Francis, Queen’s University International Centre (QUIC) Director, Dr. Myles, KACC President Felix Akol, and Afro-Caribe Foundation President, Judith Brown.

2013 Dinner-Dance Awards
The fundraising effort is in support of the Robert Sutherland Memorial Bursary and the Alfie Pierce Scholarship at Queen’s University, and the Afro-Caribe Community Foundation Bursary at St. Lawrence College.
The event will be semi-formal at which a four course meal will be served. The night also celebrates the seventeenth anniversary of the founding of the organization. There will be amazing music and awesome door prizes to be won!
